Brushing and Flossing

Brushing and Flossing with Braces

Our number one priority is the health of your teeth and mouth. It is extremely important that you brush and floss after every meal to keep them healthy throughout treatment. Plaque in the mouth allows bacteria to produce acid which can then pull calcium out of the teeth or even cause cavities. Both of these can have permanent effects and may compromise the results of treatment. If you are unsure which toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, or other tools to use for hygiene, please ask our staff and we will help you choose the best product for your circumstances.
